Mariona is a human biologist by training, having studied at Pompeu Fabra University
in Barcelona. Mariona has recently been working in the Regulatory Affairs group of a major pharmaceutical company,
and is fluent in English and Spanish as well as having a good working knowledge of Portuguese. Mariona has also
trained in the Physiology Department, Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, Brazil and assisted in
the Neuropharmacology Department, Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona, Spain.
During her spare time she enjoys spending her time in any city center (… and in particular spending money in city center shops!), singing out loud and putting together the pieces of any jigsaw in sight. She also enjoys driving, but still finds right-hand-drive cars a challenge … Cambridge locals are still smarting from her debut as a cyclist (not to mention jumping for cover)! |
